The countdown to summer is on, and our Village delegation to Prague, Czech Republic is almost complete! We have two final spots remaining for 10 or 11-year-olds.
Village in Prague, Czech Republic
Dates: July 3-30, 2026
Age Requirement: Born between Sept 1, 2014 and Aug 31, 2015
The Details: Check out the official Prague invitation here.
If you’ve been on the fence, here is what one of our own CISV New York delegates had to say after returning from a Village in Seoul, South Korea last summer:
“CISV is a BIG experience, like a movie! You meet so many new people, and the activities are designed to suit everyone’s taste. Some activities dig deeper to more cultural and personal elements, and that lets you get to know people better. It’s unique because it provides more time than a regular camp to meet kids from different places and become friends… And finally, a detail that most parents show interest in: it’s screen-free!” — A happy 11-year-old returning Villager
HOW TO APPLY:
- Create a Family Account via the CISV New York Applications Portal.
- Add your child(ren).
- Complete and submit applications for desired programs.
- Monitor your application status through the portal.
These final two spots will fill quickly—don’t miss the chance to make this summer “like a movie.” Best way to see if this is the right fit for your family is to speak to someone who’s already done it. Please email newyork@cisvusa.org and we’ll connect you with experienced families.
Why Choose a CISV Program?
When you join a CISV program, you’re not just signing up for a trip – you’re embarking on a transformative journey. Our mission is clear: to educate and inspire action for a more just and peaceful world, and we start with children.
Imagine representing New York on an international stage, connecting with peers from across the globe, and gaining invaluable insights into different perspectives, learning through play about peaceful conflict resolution, human rights, and sustainability. That’s what CISV is all about.
But don’t just take our word for it – CISV has been recognized by the White House, the United Nations, and the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for our commitment to promoting peace through friendship among children. Actually, RBG co-founded and served on the board of the CISV New York Chapter for many years.
So why wait? Join us and be part of something truly incredible. Click here to learn more about how CISV works. Start your journey towards a brighter, more interconnected world by emailing newyork@cisvusa.org.
