CISV educates and inspires action for a more just and peaceful world.
Mark your calendar for a family-friendly community service event in Westchester with our friends at Scarsdale Congregational Church’s Midnight Run.
We will meet at the Parish Hall at SCC to sort clothing, pack toiletry bags, and prepare bagged lunches on behalf of the Midnight Run, a volunteer organization dedicated to finding common ground between the housed and the homeless.
WHEN: Friday, March 28, 7-8PM
WHERE: SCC Parish Hall, 1 Heathcote Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583
Midnight Run coordinates over 1,000 relief missions per year, in which volunteers from churches, synagogues, schools and other civic groups prepare and distribute food, clothing, blankets, and personal care items to the homeless poor on the streets of New York City.
To attend, please sign up using the orange RSVP button on this page. If you sign up, you’ll help prepare items that will be distributed later in the evening. CISV volunteers will not join the drive into the city, only the prep in Scarsdale.
Whether you can make it or not, consider donating toiletry items:
Donations may be mailed or dropped off at 5 Lockwood Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583.
This event is child-friendly. Everyone can help!
Sign up for donations using this spreadsheet. Please edit the list as needed.
Hope to see many of you when CISV NY joins this Midnight Run prep event!
