CISV New York Spring Minicamp

April 4 @ 5:00 pm - April 6 @ 2:00 pm

What is Minicamp?

The CISV NY Minicamp is an incredible weekend: jam-packed with fun and educational CISV activities, awesome people, energizers galore, and so much more! Our awesome CISV New York Junior Branch Board is planning an amazing minicamp for you.

Since participants are from different towns in the NYC metro area, minicamp starts with “name games” and other “getting to know you” activities, so don’t worry about not knowing anyone when the camp begins. Saturday is filled with three to five activities that include one or more of CISV’s main themes (peaceful conflict resolution, human rights, sustainable development, and diversity). Activities are usually followed by a “debrief” where we discuss our “attitudes, skills and knowledge” that might have been changed or influenced by the activity. There’s also plenty of free time, time to recharge, make friends, play, and have fun!
