Are you searching for unique, fun, and inspiring experiences for you and your children?
The CISV New York chapter has something for everyone!
Join us in Manhattan on November 12th at 1 PM for the 2024 Programs Information Session. CISV New York is run by a committed group of volunteers who believe in its mission: to educate and inspire action for a more just and peaceful world.
This event is open to people of all ages and will give you the opportunity to learn about the amazing summer and winter programs, activities, and events offered by CISV New York. You will also learn how to get involved and volunteer to help the chapter, while socializing with other CISVers. The Junior Branch Board will be hosting additional activities to make your experience even more enjoyable.
Our 2024 programs cater to all age groups, from ages 10 to 17 for participants, 18-20 for junior staff and volunteer positions, and 21+ for adult leaders, staff, and volunteers.
During the event, we will cover the following topics:
- What is CISV?
- When and why was CISV founded?
- What does the New York Chapter do and offer?
- What Summer and Winter Programs are available?
- What are the age groups for the different Summer and Winter Programs?
- When and where will the Summer and Winter Programs be held?
- What is the cost of the Summer and Winter Programs?
- Does CISV New York offer financial aid or a payment plan?
- How to volunteer and help the chapter produce more local programs, activities, and events?
