The CISV New York Chapter is thrilled to host a 15-day international Youth Meeting in Summer 2026—and we’re searching for a dedicated, enthusiastic Camp Director (age 21+) to lead this transformative global experience! Core Responsibilities
As Camp Director, you will:- Collaborate with Program Coordinators, staff, leaders, and chapter members to ensure a safe, welcoming, and educational experience.
- Select the program’s name and theme in alignment with CISV’s Educational Principles.
- Design the initial schedule and activity calendar, and support leaders and participants in planning high-quality activities.
- Delegate tasks effectively, guiding staff based on their strengths.
- Oversee required reports, evaluations, administrative documents, and communication with CISV USA and CISV International.
- Model enthusiasm, responsibility, and a commitment to CISV values throughout the program.
Time Commitment
- Pre-program: ~4 hours/month from December 2025–July 2026
- Training: 4 days in April 2026 (includes National Leader Training)
- On-site: 15 days, July 31–August 16, 2026 (live-in, 24/7 with designated time off)
